Every Advistha caregiver goes through a multi-step process before they're ever sent to a family: government ID verification, address proof, reference checks from prior employers, and an in-person interview with our Guwahati team. After that, role-specific training in elder care, child care, or nursing-aide work — including safety, hygiene, and emergency response.
For nursing care, we work with attendants and trained nursing aides. We are not a substitute for a registered nurse or doctor, and complex medical procedures should always go through your treating physician.

Our nursing-care service provides trained nursing aides and attendants who support recovery and chronic care at home — under the guidance of your treating doctor. They are not licensed Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Midwives (RM) under the Indian Nursing Council, and they do not prescribe or replace medical treatment.
For procedures requiring a registered nurse, we'll be transparent about it and help you understand the right path.
